Flame Sword and Laser Sword - are essentially the same sword.This is probably too late, but I keep wishing there were more animation frames to the run cycle for the characters.As in, jumping during a dash would give you a longer jump. Adding a Dash Jump would most likely make movement feel smoother.Dash should travel the same distance, whether on the ground or in the air. ![]() ![]() Dashing - Dashing in the air goes MUCH further than on the ground.Fix wall jumping and you can have great level design for platforming.The speed should increase when jumping off a wall for better distance.When jumping off the wall, there should be a forced movement to give the player a chance to push in the direction of the jump. I suggest giving a small delay before dropping when letting go from the direction.You end up jittering in the air trying to correct yourself and waste distance. But when a player wants to go from one wall to an opposite wall, it is not good at all. Wall jumping is fine when climbing up the same wall. When you push away from the wall to get a longer jump, you can't wall jump because you fell off the moment you let go of the direction. The moment you jump off the wall you're being directed against the same wall because you need to be holding the direction towards the wall in order to jump. So when one wants to make a long jump off of a wall, it won't work. The instant you stop pushing against the wall, you drop. This might be a bit to explain: You push against the wall to stick to it and slide down. Wall Jumping - There is no delay between inputs.I beat 4 stages with No.2 on Normal so far. Doesn't seem the dev is active in the Steam forums. ![]()
